I just spent an afternoon staining, painting and staining some more. I think manual labor is underrated. There's something quite rewarding about hanging out in a theater's basement shop, darkening long strands of rope while quasi-dancing to horrible radio hits. If only the shop wasn't so cold....
If anyone wants to see some theater next weekend (preferably Friday night), call me. And I'll show you which pipes I painted. And maybe even introduce you to my favorite set designer.
